GitHub for Unity

GitHub for Unity is a free, open source Unity plugin that brings Unity developers basic git operations from inside Unity including:
- Install git if git is not already installed on your machine
- Initialize a repository
- Configure local git settings
- Easy authentication for GitHub accounts (including 2FA)
- Commit local changes
- Publish to any remote origin, with a specific GitHub user interface for GitHub repositories
- Fetch, pull, and push to and from any remote repository
- Create, switch, and checkout branches
As well as more advanced game development support, such as:
- Git LFS Support, for those large scenes and assets within your game
- File Locking, to ensure that you and only you are editing a scene or file

GitHub for Unity brings you the ability to effectively collaborate with your team of coders, artists, and designers without having to leave the Unity environment. With a user interface that allows you to stay off the command line, your entire team can work together without those pesky emails saying "DO NOT TOUCH SCENE 4!"
