Android Ultimate TTS

This is a full featured android Text To Speech (TTS) plugin.Android Ultimate TTS allows you to easily use the native text-to-speech capabilites of Android devices.

Supported features:

▓ Do pitch adjustments to the spoken text.

▓ Change speech rate (speed) of the spoken text.

▓ Change volume of the TTS engine itself without changing the android system volume.

▓ Change to different installed voices available (Male, Female, different accents etc)

▓ Synthesize text to an audio file.

▓ Register event listeners that tell you exactly when the TTS engine started speaking, when the speech end and when an error occured if any.

▓ Change language of the TTS engine to any language even if the language is not listed you can type in a 2 or 3 letter language and country code to set it.

▓ Check if a language is supported by your android system.

▓ Set a TTS engine.

▓ Get a list of TTS engines the user has installed on their device.

▓ Show Toast messages on your phone.

A README file and a demo scene is included to demonstrate the usage and features of this plugin.Please note that the plugin is meant to be used only on android devices. If you try to use this plugin in any other platform including the unity editor itself, you will get errors.

System Requirements & Limitations:

► Works with devices having Android 5.0 Lollipop and above. ► Android 5.0 Lollipop (API Level 21) and above set in player settings.

► Google Text To Speech Engine must be installed on the target Android device.

► Only Google TTS Engine supports all the features of this plugin. If you change to a different TTS Engine then not all functionality is guaranteed.

► Input system set to "both" in Player Settings > Input system in newer versions of unity

► Either disable minify in newer versions of unity in Player Settings > Publishing or specify to proguard to keep "com.xyaabla.texttospeech.TTS" class and not strip it by enabling "User Proguard File" checkbox in the player settings (above the Minify option) and specify which classes should be kept in the "Assets/Plugins/Android/proguard-user.txt" file

Refund Policy:

Refunds without a legitimate reason won't be considered, especially if they fall under the following:

►You accidentally purchased the asset.

►You purchased the asset but found out that another asset XYZ allows you to achieve the same.

► You didn't carefully read the Requirements & Limitations section for the asset on the asset store description and purchased the asset. Now you find that your version of Unity editor or the environment settings don't confirm to the points listed in the Requirements & Limitations section in the asset description, so the asset isn't working as expected.

► You didn't read this section before making the purchase.

► The asset does what it is supposed to do and as listed in the description and other relevant documents, but you still don't find it useful.
