Firebase News And Notifications

Firebase News And Notifications is a template that allows you to send your players news and notifications straight from Firebase.

NOTE: This assets does not offer push notifications serivices. It pulls news from the database and displays them to the player, when they open the game.

Push notifications only appear for a while and once clicked, disappear, use this asset to retain the news/notification in the game everytime the user wants to view

This asset is a quick way round a developer wanting to communicate to users about in-game news or events through a 'News' section inside the game.
Use the asset to create news, push to Firebase, and your users will all receive the news/notifications in the news section when they open your game. Traditionally, one would use email list updates/newsletters to keep players updated. This asset makes it easier for you, as all news/updates will be available in the game too

A piece of news/notification consists of:
- News Heading
- News Body
- News Image/Icon
- News Time stamp

Asset contains an Admin Scene that connects to firebase to create news locally, and a client scene which displays the news from firebase. The Client Scene is what the players will be seeing

The news will be visible in your game as long as it is on the database.
This asset will display new notifications/news to the user and indicate the ones that have/ have not been read
Use it to keep your users in the know.
