Lost Crypt - 2D Sample Project

$0.00 $0.00

Lost Crypt is a 2D sample project that showcases all of Unity’s 2D tools working together. This visually compelling demo of a side-scrolling game was featured in the Unite Copenhagen keynote. We created it with Unity 2019.3 Beta and it uses the Universal Render Pipeline.

Important:

Lost Crypt uses the new Input System, so when you import it you might be prompted to use the new system. After accepting the prompt, restart Unity so that you can control the character.

This pack shows the 2D tools within the context of a game production. The project includes a tutorial window that walks you through features such as 2D Animation, 2D Sprite Shape, 2D Tilemaps, 2D Lights, Shader Graph for 2D, Secondary Textures, and Volume post-processing.

You can learn more about how we solved common graphic challenges with these 2D tools in this blog post: Read Here.

The Lost Crypt demo has been tested on popular desktops, and on common iOS and Android devices.

Note: To see Animated Materials moving in the Scene view, make sure you select Animated Materials under the Effects menu in the Scene view Control Bar.
