4K Desert Sand Materials

Sand. It's coarse, rough and irritating. And it gets everywhere. Using personal photo reference of Iraqi desert sand, I have used procedural material authoring tools to craft these authentic tileable 4K desert sand materials.

More realistic and detailed than "stylized" materials yet more painterly than photogrammetry-based materials, this product includes 5 unique sand materials that were designed to approximate fine sand, coarse sand, rocky sand, a sand road, and hard packed sand.

Each material has four 4K textures including Ambient Occlusion, Albedo, Metallic, and Normal maps. Height map and Smoothness are packed into the Metallic's Green and Alpha channels.
