Hindi Font

Unity3D doesn't Render Hindi Texts Properly, you can check the broken texts in InputField ,Text and Dropdown in the Screenshots above.

This Hindi Font Plugin helps hindi texts to render properly in TextMeshPro.

For json parsing , please copy this "com.unity.nuget.newtonsoft-json": "3.2.1" in your project folder-->Packages--> manifest and open the file and paste above command at last. Json.Net has been removed from Asset store, Unity is providing newtonsoft json directly in the packages. This is needed for parsing json contents.

Hindi Font uses Notosans Devanagiri Regular & Bold Font Assets.

it works in all Platforms(Windows, Mac, IOS, Android)

Note:

This Plugin only renderers Hindi Texts in Unity. Broken texts will be replaced with Particular unicode. you cannot share the texts outside unity once it is rendered,Because when you share rendered text,particular unicode character will not be available.

If you want Original text to be shared outside unity,you need to save it in some variables before rendering the hindi texts.

This Plugin has stored original TextComponent value,you can call this variable to any other script.For InputFields and Dropdowns Original Text ,You need to save the content from inputfields text and call the correct rendering function.

This Font Supports Both Hindi and English Characters

If you are using Textmeshpro Inputfield and have enabled Hide Mobile Input, this should work properly using this option. if not enabled you might see certain unicode characters will not match keyboards Edittext in android and IOS, but will show properly in Unity's Input Component
