QR Anchor Sharing

Augmented reality gaming is super fun in multiplayer. Unfortunately, different devices usually don't share the same coordinate system, making it hard to synchronize poses between them. If you are looking for a solution to this problem that does not require any cloud services, this might be for you.

Limitations
→ Requires AR Foundation, so make sure the devices you're targeting support it.
→ Varying precision: The alignment of the anchors may vary, but experience has shown that the error is typically within 20 centimeters. Use this tool to develop multiplayer games that are centered around one shared object. Not recommended for e.g. PvP shooting games!

Important:
Don't panic if the sample scene does not build right away in a clean project! You have to set up AR Foundation first. This process is not trivial and may depend on your Unity/AR Foundation version. Check out the official Unity docs and the documentation provided in this Asset. If the sample scene does not build inside a project in which you've already used AR Foundation successfully, please contact me!
