Geometric vision targeting system 2 offers object and edge based targeting. Add this component to a game object and set your parameters to start receiving targeting data.
In games, targeting systems are used on things like object targeting, enemy targeting/locking, aim assist, homing missiles, object snapping, turrets, click enhancers and even virtual reality headsets gaze detection. Depending on a genre, almost every good game has some kind of good targeting system in it.
High performance: The plugin has optional ECS support for Unity 2021 for high performance scenarios. This requires some preview packages and latest Unity 2021. The base game object based version works with Unity 2020 LTS or newer.
Examples scenes are made with Unity 2021 and that version is expected when running the examples. Also due to Unity dropping standard rendering pipeline support for entities, the examples are converted to use Universal rendering pipeline.
