Japanese Medieval Ship - Gozabune

A gozabune (gozabune) is a luxurious ship in Japanese history that was used by nobles such as the emperor, court nobles, shoguns, and feudal lords. It is a ship whose character corresponds to what is known as a pleasure yacht in the West. Those for rivers are also called river gozabune, and those for the sea are also called umigozabune.
