Modular Window Builder is a powerful editor extension for Unity that simplifies the process of designing, generating, and managing scalable windows and walls directly inside the Editor.

Whether you're prototyping layouts, blocking out architecture, or creating production-ready prefabs, this tool gives you complete control over panel structure, dimensions, and placement. No coding required.

Core Features

Interactive Window Creation
Customize subdivisions, panel types, and dimensions using sliders and input fields. Instantly see results in the Scene view.

Measurement Mode
Click inside any wall opening (with colliders) and the tool will automatically fit and place a window that matches the size and shape of the space.

Prefab Management
Created windows appear in a visual list with thumbnails, editable names, and save buttons. Easily save or update prefabs with your custom settings.

Material Persistence
Frame and glass materials are saved between sessions and restored automatically. You’re always working with the materials you chose.

New in v1.1.0 - Floor Plan Tracer (Beta)

The new Floor Plan Tracer lets you import a blueprint image, trace wall layouts, and place windows with pixel-perfect control.

• Draw walls directly over floor plan images
• Automatically place modular windows along wall segments
• Define window names, sill heights, and panel heights as you draw
• Save the building as a prefab, with all runtime meshes saved to
  Assets/WindowBuilder/SavedMeshes/[YourPrefabName]

This is an early beta of the full floor and wall layout system. Upcoming updates will add doors, roofs, and multi-floor support.
